So there's going to be this wedding here in April. I'm guessing it's the wedding of the century and whatnot....and okay I'm going to shrug off the uncaring attitude because I'm so excited I'll be here for Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton. As American I get that I shouldn't give a damn about what the outdated and expensive monarchy of a foreign country does but I do. My friend Grete and I already are planning on camping out for the thing. This truly is a once in a lifetime event. This is the Obama inauguration of Britain. A prince marrying a commoner - well, they don't technically use that term anymore but whatever. I'm thrilled...that I'll get to stand outside for two days waiting to see the future King of England trot by in a carriage that's worth more than any house I'll ever own.
In other exciting news, I went to the Houses of Parliament today. Okay, well any idiot can do that but I actually got to go inside and look around the place. Talk about impressive. I saw the throne Queen Elizabeth sits on at the state opening of Parliament and stood where David Cameron stands during PM Question Time.
